Orthodontic solutions
Healthy teeth can be aligned at any age, and technological advances have made treatments more comfortable and less visible. Today, several solutions are available for a flawless tooth alignment.
Your orthodontist will help you choose the right solution to straighten your teeth naturally, genuinely, without risk to adjacent anatomical structures and without affecting your lifestyle.
When to see an orthodontist?
Aesthetic solutions can correct the shape, size and color of the teeth, but the correction of the position of the teeth and the treatment of malocclusions, will be obtained only by orthodontic treatment.
Neglecting these defects can lead to more serious complications than those of an aesthetic nature. If not corrected in time, malposition and malocclusion will promote the appearance of pathological abrasions, damage to the gums and bone, difficulty in chewing and can also be the cause of pain in the temporomandibular joint.
Correcting the position of the teeth and the occlusion is a complex biological process, which requires the expertise and continuous supervision of a specialist.
Solutions for an aligned smile
Despite more modern alternatives, metal braces are still preferred by patients due to its low cost and confirmed results over time. These braces have an improved size and can be customized. It has good control of forces and the duration of treatment is shorter than in the case of ceramic or sapphire braces.
Clinical cases
This option has gained popularity because it is less visible. The ceramic mimics the color of the teeth, and the presence of braces is as discreet as possible. It is a good alternative for patients who are embarrassed to wear the metal braces.
Clinical cases
Sapphire is an almost transparent artificial crystal, which makes the braces less noticeable on the surface of the teeth. Sapphire does not absorb dyes and does not accumulate bacterial plaque. The rounded edges offer extra comfort to patients.
